My History
My career began in the apparel industry after graduating from a university specializing in fashion. When I became pregnant, I decided to leave my company, and the birth of my second child became the catalyst for starting my own business. At the time, I was searching for a side job I could do from home while raising my children. With two small kids, I realized that working outside the home would limit my earning potential. I understood that to create a sustainable future, I needed to develop real skills and build a business around them. Around that same period, the Japanese government began encouraging side businesses, and stories of new work styles were frequently featured in the media. Looking back, I believe that this broader societal shift gave me the push I needed to pursue entrepreneurship.
During my search for a side job, I encountered an organic products MLM business—my first experience with self-employment. The biggest challenge I faced was attracting customers. To solve that problem, I turned to social media. The only issue was that I had never been good at it. Still, I had chosen this path myself, and I knew I needed to make it work. So I changed my perspective—from someone who only consumed social media to someone who used it as a communication tool. I began thinking about what kind of posts—what writing, photos, and topics—would truly engage people. Through trial and error, I gradually developed an understanding of social media marketing.
That experience led to a major realization: what I truly wanted to pursue wasn’t MLM, but social media marketing itself. Initially, I had used social media to promote products through MLM, but in the end, I didn’t sell a single product. What I found meaningful was not selling things, but using social media as a platform for business growth and communication. Eventually, I decided to step away from MLM entirely and focus my efforts on the business of social media marketing.
The Present
Today, Onestyle focuses on social media marketing education and consulting for women. Through our programs—especially on Instagram—we teach clients how to build their businesses from the ground up: from designing their products and services, to attracting customers, to mastering sales. Our students include salon owners, instructors, and small business entrepreneurs. One of the most common challenges they face is differentiation. While many offer similar services, their motivations—the “why” behind their work—are deeply personal and unique. Those individual motivations form the core of their business. Our role is to help each client uncover the unique value that only they can offer and to help them communicate that effectively through optimized product design and storytelling. This ability to bring out individuality and turn it into business value is one of our company’s greatest strengths.
Having started my own business from scratch after being a part-time homemaker, I believe deeply in the power of women acquiring skills. When women build families and raise children, they take on new responsibilities—and their place in society often changes as well. It’s not uncommon for many to feel limited by circumstances, thinking they “can’t” or “have to give up.”
But I’ve learned that developing new skills can transform those limitations into opportunities. With the right abilities, women can change their current situation, open new paths, and earn enough to remove financial anxiety. When money is no longer the top concern, it creates space to pursue one’s true passions and to care for family in more fulfilling ways. Women inherently have the strength to thrive as mothers, wives, and daughters—yet many don’t fully realize their potential.
That’s why my mission through Onestyle is to help women rediscover their capabilities and contribute meaningfully to society. When mothers who are raising children live with energy and purpose, they inspire hope in their children. Women’s empowerment doesn’t just strengthen families—it energizes communities and brightens Japan’s future. This belief drives everything I do every day.
For the Future
Through my experiences, I’ve set a clear goal for myself: to become a role model for female entrepreneurs, and to nurture other women who can become role models in their own right.
My focus now is on supporting every student in our program so they can achieve tangible results. Each success brings us one step closer to that vision. Entrepreneurship requires courage and resilience—it’s never an easy path—but it offers the power to design one’s ideal lifestyle and future. Because our business revolves around social media marketing, we continue to share insights on personal branding and effective communication. I also believe that growth must start with myself. By continuously expanding my own activities and openly sharing my progress, I hope to inspire others—to show how much change is possible in just one year. Through content that documents both my company’s growth and my personal journey, I want to give more women the courage to move forward.
There was a time in my life when I nearly gave up—both financially and professionally. But starting a business taught me invaluable lessons. The most important of these is that our lives are defined by the choices we make and how we live them. If you feel unsatisfied or stuck, make a new choice. Even small decisions can lead to big change. It’s never too late—no matter your age or situation—to start something new. You don’t need to transform everything overnight; progress comes through steady, small steps that gradually reshape your life. I want women to know the power of not giving up, and I hope that the lessons I’ve learned—through both successes and struggles—reach as many women as possible. That belief continues to fuel my mission and my passion every day.
