My History

Our clinic offers a wide range of surgical procedures, from eyelid surgery and facelifts to liposuction and gynecological procedures, as well as an extensive selection of skincare treatments. We primarily serve patients in their 40s and older, with anti-aging care as our central concept. Most of our patients, who have lived with their familiar appearance for many years, do not seek dramatic changes through cosmetic surgery. Instead, they want to address age-related concerns such as wrinkles and sagging in a natural way. My goal is to support those wishes and provide beauty that looks natural—treatments that allow patients to look in the mirror with confidence and face each day with renewed motivation. That is my ideal.

I realized the importance of natural beauty through a personal experience. At a high school reunion with about 50 classmates, everyone had naturally changed somewhat with age, but I was told that I looked the least changed. At that moment, I thought, “This is the essence of aesthetic medicine.” In other words, it is not about becoming someone else, but about continuing to be yourself while shining. Natural beauty is not only about outward appearance—it is also about letting one’s inner self radiate. Becoming beautiful through aesthetic medicine means gaining freedom: the freedom to live beyond the limits and frameworks we impose on ourselves. That, I believe, is the true essence of my work in aesthetic medicine.

More recently, I published a book on natural beauty. In addition to cosmetic surgery, it discusses the fundamental elements that make people look beautiful. For example, smiling while speaking or keeping the back straight rather than slouching. These are not burdensome practices but simple habits that can be part of everyday life. The book’s message resonated with many readers, and it went on to reach the number one spot in weekly bookstore rankings.

The Present

One of the unique features of our clinic is that all staff members, including doctors, are women. This allows us to fully understand and support our patients from a woman’s perspective, which I consider a great strength. Another strength is that our team includes board-certified specialists in dermatology, plastic surgery, and gynecology. Working in an environment where we continually learn from one another ultimately benefits our patients. We also participate in academic conferences, and I am confident that the level of medical care we provide is very high.

What motivates me most is seeing patients improve through their treatments. Many not only see changes in appearance but also begin to improve their fashion, makeup, way of speaking, and facial expressions. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing my treatments help patients move their lives in a positive direction. Some patients even refer their family members—husbands, grandmothers, and others—to our clinic. Having long been involved in counseling, I now have patients with whom I share relationships spanning three generations. Often, it starts with one patient, and gradually those around them also become happier. As this circle of happiness expands and I receive words of gratitude, it gives me strong motivation to keep going even when challenges arise. I also draw great energy from my patients, which inspires me day after day.

For the Future

In addition to providing care at our clinic, I founded the International Femtech Esthetic & Medical Academy to pursue better medical care. Femtech refers to technologies that address women’s unique concerns, and it has recently become a major trend. While many companies and beauty professionals now share information in this field, as a physician I want to provide insights into better treatment options. For example, as new devices are rapidly introduced into the beauty industry, manufacturers may hold training sessions, but there have been few opportunities for physicians—the actual users of these devices—to compare them and exchange opinions.

I also felt it was an issue that once doctors in fields such as gynecology, dermatology, or urology open their own practices, opportunities for interaction sharply decline. I wanted to address this situation by creating a place for study and exchange through the theme of femtech. My strong motivation in establishing the International Femtech Esthetic & Medical Academy was to work together with colleagues to deliver better medical care to patients. Femtech still has much room to grow, and I will continue to learn every day while refining the strengths of the care that only our clinic can provide.

“Lux” in Lux Clinic comes from the Latin word for “light.” There is nothing more rewarding than being able to bring light not only to our patients themselves but also to their families. We will continue to move forward with the goal of contributing to natural beauty for as many people as possible.
