My History
When I was in university, my dream was to become a tennis coach. I spent nearly every day of the week working part-time as a tennis instructor, devoting myself completely to coaching while managing my studies. I even considered dropping out of school to focus more seriously on tennis. However, an injury to my wrist while on the job forced me to abandon that path. Losing the one thing I was truly passionate about left me feeling completely lost in the dark. In an effort to reset my life, I made the decision to enroll in a different university and refocus on my studies.
What I encountered at my new university shocked me—the lack of motivation among students. Some spent hours watching YouTube in the computer lab, while others chatted aimlessly all day. The stark contrast between those passive days and the intense drive I had once felt on the tennis court made me determined to change something. That’s when I turned to filmmaking. I created a story about a university student with no clear goals, who finds meaning through new encounters and gradually begins to envision a future. I still vividly remember how deeply I wanted to shift the mindset of my fellow students in a more positive direction.
At the time, I had no formal experience or education in filmmaking. So I took the initiative to contact professional film directors and asked them directly for advice. Through a process of trial and error, I eventually completed the film. After the screening, I received an outpouring of praise—perhaps the first time in my life I had experienced such overwhelming appreciation from others.
But not long after, when I was starting to feel a bit self-satisfied, a business leader who had seen the film said something that left a deep impression on me: “It’s too early to be satisfied. You need to think more deeply about how you live. When you understand how to live, that’s when you’ll understand how to work.” Those words pierced my heart. From that moment on, I spent nearly every waking hour for six months thinking seriously about how I wanted to live my life. And then one day, I realized something profound: that my very existence was the result of countless miracles, and that I owed everything I had to the people around me. The moment I reached that realization, I couldn’t stop crying—I wept with gratitude for nearly three hours straight.
Until then, I had been obsessed with figuring out how to make my life successful. But that insight flipped everything. From then on, my focus shifted to how I could use my life to give back to the people around me. I came to believe that my mission in life is to pour love into as many lives as possible, and through that love, help bring about miracles for others. Later, while I was still in school, my wife became pregnant and we got married. The challenges I faced in our relationship also led me to begin studying counseling and psychotherapy in earnest. I worked independently as a psychological therapist for about seven years, which eventually led to the founding of Central & Mission Inc.
The name “Central & Mission” reflects our core belief: “To help as many people as possible discover and live out their life’s central mission.” Our logo also carries a deeper meaning: that one’s mission is discovered through the ongoing cycle of learning throughout life.
To date, I have provided counseling to more than 5,000 individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
The Present
A distinctive feature of the counseling services we offer lies in our focus on electrical signals in the brain. Our approach is a structured methodology that combines insights from quantum physics, psychology, and neuroscience to facilitate rapid problem-solving. We draw information from the client’s subconscious—through their tone of voice, facial expressions, and other subtle cues—and then directly address the electrical signals associated with trauma. While traditional counseling often involves active listening techniques and typically takes months or even years to produce meaningful results, our method is different. In many cases, issues that might take over a year to resolve through conventional therapy can be addressed in as little as 15 to 20 minutes using our approach.
Before beginning any counseling session, we take a moment to imagine and honor the client’s parents and ancestors, offering a silent prayer. This step is essential for us. Through training others in our methods, we have seen that practitioners with advanced techniques can sometimes fall into the trap of believing they alone have the power to transform someone’s life. That kind of arrogance leads to careless practice and a loss of focus on delivering truly effective counseling. We believe that each client is here thanks to the lives and efforts of generations before them. By consciously acknowledging this, we commit to our sessions with a sense of promise and reverence toward their lineage. It’s a way of aligning ourselves with unseen sources of support—so that we can give everything we have to help the person in front of us experience transformation.
The issues our clients bring to us are extremely diverse. Some are homemakers struggling with marital difficulties; others are entrepreneurs seeking to achieve breakthrough results in business. But regardless of the topic, our focus is always the same: “To create a miracle in the life of the client sitting before us.” Even when a client is caught in the depths of confusion and pain, when the counselor maintains a clear and unwavering belief in hope, that light becomes visible to the client. Only when emotional pain and inner burdens are released can a person begin to truly face and live out their life’s mission.
For the Future
Through my work in counseling, I have helped many people open the door to a new future. Moving forward, I hope to pass on the knowledge and techniques I’ve developed to the next generation. My vision is to create a world where children everywhere can live in alignment with their life’s mission—not following paths chosen by their parents or society, but walking the path they discover for themselves on their journey through life.
As part of this mission, I have been involved in educational programs focused on international exchange, primarily targeting high school and university students. In the past, I organized projects that brought together Japanese students with students from institutions such as Cairo University in Egypt and the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. These initiatives provided opportunities for cross-cultural dialogue, culminating in joint presentations on the theme of world peace.
Just as a fish swimming in water cannot recognize the value of the water around it, I believe that children born and raised in Japan may not fully realize the blessings of their environment. That’s why I want young people to step outside their home country, experience the vastness of the world firsthand, and discover their untapped potential. With this in mind, we have collaborated with Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as foreign government agencies to carry out these international projects.
Once our educational initiatives have expanded further, we also plan to introduce our counseling methods to other countries. People struggling with trauma or emotional burdens exist not only in Japan, but all over the world. I remain committed to the belief that “we can bring miracles into the lives of people across the globe”—and I will continue working toward that vision with unwavering dedication.
