My History
At our clinic, we focus on addressing women’s health issues, particularly those that affect their well-being after childbirth or due to aging. We offer aesthetic treatments, regenerative medicine for the uterus, endometrium, and ovaries, as well as unique services like female genital reconstruction, including procedures for the vagina, uterus, and external genitalia.
Childbirth, one of life’s most significant events, often results in damage to the female genital area, such as tearing, crushing, or excessive stretching. These injuries can be difficult to heal naturally, sometimes causing the uterus or bladder to drop, or in severe cases, even protrude outside the body.
Many of these postpartum issues require surgical intervention. Aging also affects the genital area, leading to stiffness, atrophy, and shrinkage of both the uterus and vagina. This can cause pain from even the slightest touch, chronic inflammation, and easy bleeding, making everyday life and sexual activity uncomfortable or even unbearable. For some women, the pain is so severe that it affects their ability to sleep. These conditions aren’t rare; many women are likely to face these challenges at some point in their lives. In fact, when the vagina becomes hardened and atrophied, it can make essential health checks like uterine cancer screenings difficult, posing a serious health risk. We begin by restoring the structure through surgery, then use regenerative medicine to address the underlying issues. With this approach, we’ve helped women as old as 80 regain their confidence, alleviate their discomfort, and start new, fulfilling chapters in their lives.
Doctors at university hospitals who work within the confines of insurance-covered treatments are often too overwhelmed by their busy schedules to fully address the concerns of individual patients. At our clinic, we bridge this gap by offering private medical care, which tends to lower the psychological barrier for women seeking help. This allows us to identify and address a broader range of women’s health issues, referring them to insurance-based treatments when needed. At the same time, we provide specialized surgeries that aren’t available through insurance. In this way, our clinic acts as a bridge between various levels of care, offering comprehensive solutions to complex women’s health concerns that may not be addressed elsewhere. We combine surgical expertise with regenerative medicine to provide effective, lasting results for our patients.
My mission is to help women regain their true smiles and create a society where they can continue to thrive. This belief doesn’t come from feminism, but from my conviction that a woman’s smile has the power to spread happiness and positivity to those around her. When women shine, the people around them—partners, families, communities—benefit, too. A simple smile, like music, can ripple outward, lifting people up in ways we may not even realize. I’ve heard stories of people in their darkest moments, contemplating suicide, who found hope in a song they heard by chance. In the same way, I believe in the ripple effect of a woman’s smile, spreading joy and strength far and wide. It’s also true for me: the smiles of my patients are what fuel me, helping me stay positive and continue my work with passion.
The Present
Helping my patients wholeheartedly is crucial to me, and I truly feel that my work is my calling. However, as a doctor, there are natural limits to the number of patients I can personally see, both in terms of time and capacity. To provide the best care and solve each patient’s concerns, I can only see a few people per day. This made me realize that, to help as many people as possible throughout my lifetime, I needed to develop products that can solve problems even for those who can’t visit the clinic. I want to instill my philosophy into these products and make them accessible to a broader audience, helping address the many concerns women face. This is where FemTech comes in. FemTech—short for female technology—uses advanced technology to address women’s health issues.
For example, in the apparel industry, menstrual-friendly underwear made from skin-sensitive materials has been developed, and in the tech world, apps are available to track menstrual cycles and manage pregnancy timing. The Japanese government has even initiated programs to promote FemTech, recognizing its potential to significantly boost the national economy (with projected growth in the trillions of yen over the next few years). Looking ahead, even greater progress is expected in the field of medical FemTech, which delves into more specialized medical areas.
Although it’s difficult to draw a clear line between FemTech and medical FemTech, I define the latter as innovations that incorporate the specialized medical knowledge only doctors possess. This field continues to bring breakthroughs to the kinds of problems many women face—issues that are not typically treated at university hospitals and are often too complex for private or cosmetic clinics. By combining the expertise of gynecology, plastic surgery, and women-centered regenerative medicine, I aim to solve many previously unsolvable issues. I am committed to continuously offering the latest, safest technologies.
Japan's medical technology, particularly in gynecology, is world-class and highly regarded internationally. This reputation is a result of the diligent work of previous generations of doctors, who built a legacy of trust. To honor the credibility they established, I am determined to create products that truly help people, spreading smiles and making a meaningful impact on many lives. I refuse to compromise on this mission.
For the Future
I am looking to expand my efforts on a global scale. I want to deliver the products I’ve developed in response to feedback from international customers. I’m aware that there’s already demand from Europe, Dubai, and in Asia from countries such as China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. My goal is to see Japanese traditional medical expertise, combined with our advanced knowledge, skills, and reliability, naturally spread across the globe and bring smiles to people everywhere.
Additionally, I’d like to take part in the development of medical wellness facilities, especially those being established in Japan’s hot spring regions. As a clinic, we would be delighted to contribute by sharing knowledge about feminine care and women’s health, while also offering high-quality products. We already have concrete plans, and I expect to be more involved in a supervisory capacity moving forward. If it helps improve women’s health and brings happiness to more people, I am excited to collaborate with other industries to spread these high-quality products worldwide. As our clinic expands its efforts, it also extends my vision, and I’m determined to keep pushing forward, fueled by the smiles of my patients. This clinic has thrived thanks to the support of our patients and countless others, and I am deeply grateful. With this gratitude in my heart, I earnestly wish to realize my mission of spreading happiness to as many people as possible.
