My History

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a communication methodology developed in the U.S. that draws on psychology and the workings of the brain. It involves understanding a person's background through their language and reactions, and identifying subconscious habits that may be hindering self-actualization. By altering long-standing thought and behavioral patterns, people can unlock a more authentic version of themselves. I completed the most rigorous NLP training program—a five-year Master Trainer Certification from the American Board of NLP—in record time and was certified as an NLP Master Trainer, one of only 25 in the world at the time. I now run courses that allow participants to earn three certifications simultaneously, officially accredited by the American Board of NLP, and the internationally recognized Time Line Therapy®. Time Line Therapy® is a specialized technique that taps into the unconscious mind to release negative emotions and is exclusively taught by the American Board of NLP.

Though I work with clients across 30 countries, I make it a point never to impose my views. People have diverse values, and perspectives shift depending on their circumstances. My role is to support my clients in achieving their goals, not to pass judgment. To honor each individual's unique worldview, I focus on listening carefully to their words.

The Present

While labor shortages are now a global issue, one specific challenge I’ve noticed in Japan is a lack of resilience and perseverance. I attribute this to Japan’s education system, which has long emphasized rote memorization over critical thinking. As a result, many Japanese have lost touch with their own thoughts and emotions, limiting their potential. In today’s information-rich world, the ability to think independently has weakened further. This trend is global, but in the West, children are encouraged to debate from an early age, helping them develop their own opinions and communication skills, which widens the gap between Japanese and Western people.

However, certain qualities unique to the Japanese, such as respect for others and strong discipline, are truly world-class. These values, deeply rooted in Eastern philosophy, come naturally to the Japanese. In contrast, Western societies, where NLP was born, tend to focus more on the "self" and materialistic pursuits, with robust training for gaining knowledge, wealth, and status. Looking ahead, I believe the key to progress is "integration." If Japan incorporates Western programs like NLP to strengthen individual self-awareness, while the West adopts Eastern philosophies to cultivate emotional and mental richness, both regions could benefit greatly. The future will require us to blur traditional boundaries—between genders, material and spiritual realms—and embrace integration. By drawing from the strengths of both worlds, people can more easily accept themselves, which I believe will ultimately contribute to global peace.

For the Future

As our company celebrates its 10th anniversary, we recognize that staying the same means falling behind. With our sights set on the next decade, we aim to take things to the next level. Up until now, we’ve offered our NLP certification courses in Japanese, but moving forward, we will expand our reach by adding English and Chinese to the mix. Rather than relying on interpreters, we plan to harness the power of AI to provide multilingual content, allowing more people to benefit from NLP’s core teachings on personal development. Additionally, I will be sharing my unique perspective as a Japanese NLP Master Trainer with international experience, as well as insights on the blending of Eastern and Western philosophies, the material and the spiritual, and more.

On a personal note, I am committed to ongoing learning. Recently, I studied Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego. In a group of business leaders, I stood out as one of the few female entrepreneurs with over 10 years of experience running a business overseas, which attracted attention and support from the university president and other top officials. This experience has strengthened my confidence in my own achievements and expanded my network among global leaders, who have inspired me with their broad perspectives. While my individual efforts may have limits, I believe that by partnering with influential, like-minded individuals, we can work towards improving education systems and creating a better society for future generations. I am committed to not only expanding my business but also growing my presence on the global stage, continuing to evolve and progress every step of the way.
