My History

My career began in sales within the IT industry. At the start, I knew very little and faced constant challenges. I quickly realized that improving my skills required not only learning sales itself but also understanding our clients. Driven by frustration, I began to study extensively. Over time, I achieved strong results and eventually ranked among the top 10 nationwide in new sales at a company of about 240 employees. At the same time, working in IT meant I often had to rely on engineers—for example, to consult on feasibility or to create proposal materials for system development. However, as a newcomer, I was often put aside or made to wait. That is when I decided to gain the skills to build solutions myself and transitioned to an engineering role.

As an engineer, what struck me most was the career path. Typically, it progresses from programmer to system engineer, to project manager, and then to consultant. But because engineering is not communication-focused, many engineers struggle with managing teams or providing consulting proposals. Still, if they want career growth or higher income, they must follow this path. I began to question: “Why can’t highly skilled engineers be recognized for their expertise alone?” This became my motivation. Since founding this company, I have built systems and policies that emphasize the engineer’s perspective. Creating an environment where engineers can thrive as engineers throughout their careers is our uniqueness—and our strength.

The Present

Our core businesses today are contract development, engineer staffing, and SES (System Engineering Service). We also develop, operate, and sell our own products. We handle a wide range of IT projects, giving full attention to each. As a team of highly skilled professional engineers, we have secured a strong position in the industry.

Culturally, we share the mindset: “Let’s take on interesting challenges.” One example is our in-house product RemoLabo, a workforce management system designed to solve remote work issues. Development was based on the engineer’s perspective—focusing on what is necessary, what is desired, and what is practical. This product also reflects our own history. At the time of our founding, we had no office and primarily worked remotely. The solutions we created back then to address remote work challenges became the foundation of RemoLabo.

Today, we continue to enhance its functions, adding productivity analysis, engagement visualization, and turnover prediction. For turnover prediction, we measure declines in productivity and engagement. Traditionally, engagement was assessed qualitatively—based on a manager’s intuition. While qualitative insights are important, the reality is that senior managers often cannot closely observe all subordinates. By quantifying these elements, RemoLabo makes management easier and introduces a groundbreaking approach to communication.

For the Future

In recent years, AI has rapidly advanced and is becoming widespread. I believe service industries involving human interaction—such as customer service, caregiving, and travel—will increasingly play a central role. In particular, generative AI is something we must master. Work will shift from individuals completing tasks assigned by others to individuals assigning tasks to AI. Leveraging AI to boost productivity will become a personal advantage.

We are also considering positioning our company as a reviewer of generative AI. While asking AI to perform tasks is not difficult, if people do not frame their requests correctly, they may not get meaningful results. Moreover, assessing AI’s outputs requires expertise. Fact-checking AI’s output is essential, and the ability to evaluate information quickly compiled by AI will only grow more important. For us, how deeply we can engage in this domain will be key. Looking ahead, we have many new initiatives we want to pursue. Our first step is to go public. This will allow us to take on more development and greater challenges. Personally, nothing would make me happier.
